Hey everyone!! :) Long time no see!
I know it's been so long since I've really updated.... but life has been extremely busy filled with end of the year exams, jobs, marks, etc.
I can't wait to say that I'm finally done highschool! I'm so happy however I'm a bit reminiscent since I'm going to miss all the good times I've had with some life long friends I've made over the past four years. ): However, I will never forget them so I was going to post up a few pictures, however I think I need their permission so I won't do so. xD (I don't think they want their picture plastered on my blogspot haha). It's on Facebook though if anyone is interested, however you will have to add me. :) Just look up Renesaur since I don't have a username. ><
I don't think my friend K would mind if I posted up this picture alongside with her.. I got my dress from this outlet for only $35! I did my own hair and make up, also got the shoes for $20 so in total- I only spent around 60 dollars in total. :) Yay for saving! Haha.
In the picture, I'm not actually a giant.. it's just my friend is alot shorter than me so it makes it look like I'm extremely tall. Haha. I'm around 5'8 or so and was 5'9 with the heels. It was a great night and I still miss it!!
By the way.. on the after party morning- we went to this great diner that had the BEST hot chocolate ever! It's open twenty four hours and is called "Frans" for those who live where I do.
^It's so yummy!! :D
Right now I'm working at various places right now and its not extremely exhausting..so I'm glad for that! The only thing is I won't get to enjoy my summer as much! Haha. Its okay though, since I'll still have the end of August to party it up! :) I can't wait and I'll update you guys soon!!
xoxo

MUST haves - for summer 2010 :) part uno! (sorry its so delayed)
Hey guys! :) Sorry for the lack of updates!! I've been dying in the amount of schoolwork, planning for prom, and etc lately and been just BLEH + I've been so iffy about many things lately. ): I promise I'll make regular posts soon!
Anyhow- lately I've been breaking out like CRAZY.. 1) I've been getting allergric reactions to literally everything! D: 2) Lack of sleep + diet 3) Bugs keep biting me so they end up kind of looking like pimples..to me --. The Clinique stuff I was using before ended up making my normal skin extremely dry..so I finally stopped using it and started just using moisturizer to go back to normal skin again except its not working ): Anyone have any suggestions for Dry (cheeks+flaky) and Combo kind of skin? (Oily at my T-zone/forehead) I'm also pretty ACNE-PRONE ):
Other then that- SUMMER is here and finally is time for one of the most important events for all us high schoolers... yes.. PROM! :) I've bought everything including my shoes, dress, intimates, etc for it now so it's all good. Only thing that's lacking is my jewellery. Except I've never been a jewellery person so I probably won't end up wearing or buying any unless they're earrings xP.
ANYWAYS- Also I've been pretty broke.. so I haven't had the chance to buy ANYTHING ): Let alone pay my friend back the money I owe her yet! ): Life stinks when you have no $$! However, I got a job so lets hope a steady flow of cash starts coming in soon..:)
MUST HAVES (That I must buy by the end of the summer of 2010 : ) )
iSkin Pore Perfecting System "Sephora's Clarisonic "Dupe""
http://www.sallybeauty.com/Pore-Perfecting/SBS-244008,default,pd.html
$41.47 CAD (Canadian Stores) $29.99 USD (US Stores)
I've really been looking for something similar to the Clarisonic lately however everything is really out of my price range. I've tried Sephora's brush thing but it stinks and I ended up returning it because it didn't do anything. ):. However I've been hearing on Soompi forums and on Makeupalley that this product is pretty good and a good dupe for the Clarisonic which costs a whopping $200 dollars in Canada ): That's not including tax yet! While this iSkin would probably produce the same results and only costing $30USD but probably a bit more in Canada however still better than $200+!
They're avaliable at Sally's Beauty Supply Store however I'm not too sure if Canada's Sally's carries this product since not every product that the US chain carries - would equal to the Canadian Sally's to having also. I might have to call them to double check before I head over there since it's quite a distance from my house. I'll do a review on this as soon as I get money to buy this baby. =)
If anyone has used this product- let me know how it turned out for you! =)
Coastal Scents Medium Camo Quad
$7.95 USD
I've actually seen alot of hit or misses with Coastal Scent products, thats the sole reason why I don't really buy or try much of their products since I've always been on a budget for make up :X. (MAC things I buy from sales and I can also get a refund so its all good) However I've seen more positive reviews for this quad than the other concealer ones I was tempted to try from Coastal Scents. However many have said that those other ones were less creamy and require more effort to make them..huh what's that word again, I forgot actually haha. Just to make them more smoother, however I'm willing to try this product since it got more good reviews and is more creamier. =)
Sally Girl Mini Baked Eyeshadow
$0.99USD (US Stores) ??? (Canadian Stores)
I've heard alot of good reviews for these mini shadows and I'm so tempted to try them now that I know Canada has a Sally Beauty's Supply and its pretty near my house also! I've looked at swatches on MUA, Specktra and they're pretty pigmented for their price! The colors are gorgeous and shimmery and I definitely would do a review once I get them!
SKINCARE STUFF
Nuxe Reve de Miel Cleansing Gel (Honey)
6.7OZ(200ML)- $24.00 CAD
Avaliable at Shoppers Drugmart
Now I've been on the search for a cleansing product for the longest time.. one that won't dry out my oily skin, leave it too tight, break me out or give me flakiness. It's been a whirlwind of a ride for my skin these past few years... now- and I've currently stopped using cleansers since my skin needs a break. It's pretty acne / white head filled atm.. the most I've EVER had.
I was skeptical about Nuxe products.. especially since I considered them to be a pricey line for it to be avaliable in a DRUGSTORE of all places.. so I ignored this line everytime I passed by it in Shoppers Drugmart. HOWEVER, on MUA- all of their products seem to get generally positive reviews which interests me a little bit.. and with its all organic line, I'm going to try it out.
^Credits: MUA
NuxeThingie.. sorry I got quite lazy on looking up the information.
However I've heard that this is an excellent makeup cleanser and I actually bought it since I last edited this post. Haha.
I'll continue on everything later. :) This post was actually done back in May but somehow- I never got around to posting it till now.. in July. July 1st to be exact.
EDIT; Every picture is credited to Google/ Sallys Beauty Supply Store Website. :)

hey guys!!
I'm so sorry for the lack of updates ): I've just been so busy with school, piano, and just in general.. LIFE that I haven't had time to really blog or anything. I didn't even have time to twitter ): (Just everyone knows takes like 5 seconds to do!)
What has happened since the 1st.. well- this will probably be a no picture post since my camera busted on me again. ): It does this weird thing of going all red- which makes all my pictures RED & BLURRY D: Argh. And my DSLR is being returned back to my dads friend. ): Really sucks. I need a new cam. ><. Maybe in teh summer when I get a job..
anyways- I'll be SURE to do a update by the end of this week! Promise!! Thanks for the comment on the Nars Loose Powder though Daphne- greatly appreciated! :D

Hey guys! I'm extremely sorry for the lack of updates + my pictuers not working. >< It seems that my Cyworld links are being messed up so I'm going to reupload them onto my Photobucket (extremely annoying with all these new functions!) so yes.
Today I want to ask you all.. what do YOU think of Nars Loose Powder? For those who have ever used it, I want to hear it all- the good, bad, neutrals.. etc. :) I've been seeing this used alot in Makeupgeek's videos on Youtube, and I was interested if the product was actually good or not (although one guru/person may rave about it- I turn to MUA for the back up check.). This product actually got an astounding review of 88% of repurchase! I was so surprised! It also has 4.5/5 stars for the usage!
Here's some info on the Nars Loose Powder.

Here's some info on the Nars Loose Powder.
Nars Loose Powder
What They Describe it as:
“This powder is triple milled and provides sheer, ultra-natural coverage to set makeup, soften color and smooth the texture of the skin for an overall radiant complexion. The silky-smooth texture blends undetectably into the skin, absorbs excess oils and maintains fresh looking skin with an imperceptible finish. Packaged complete with its own powder puff and both plastic and mesh sifters to provide the finest, most natural application possible.”
Amount of Product:
45 Grams!! Or 1.6 OZ
Cost
$35.00 USD
Where To Get It:
Sephora (Not avaliable), Amazon, Nars Counter, Etc
This powder sounds pretty good, however I'm iffy of the brand and the price. I'm one for trying out new things, however- one at such an expense- it's more than 35 dollars in Canada with 13% tax and although I get a good amount of product (More than MAC!), I hope it works well for MYSELF as it did for others. I've been interested in NARS products lately, I've never really tried or experimented with their brand AT ALL- not even their overhyped NARS Orgasm Blush. I've always found it a bit out of my price range as a student, however if this particular product is worth it- I would definitely consider buying/swapping for this product!!
What do YOU guys think of NARS Loose Powder? I would greatly appreciate the replies! Thanks!

Hey everyone!!
Today I'm going to just talk about a lipstick I've come to loving lately. I don't usually wear lipsticks simply because most I've tried don't look good on me and I just don't like how it feels on my lips.
WAY TO LOVE LUSTRE LIPSTICK (MAC)
Today I'm going to just talk about a lipstick I've come to loving lately. I don't usually wear lipsticks simply because most I've tried don't look good on me and I just don't like how it feels on my lips.
WAY TO LOVE LUSTRE LIPSTICK (MAC)
This is what the lipstick looks like. It's actually a pale pink color and gives slight color to your lips. My lips are more pigmented and I find this lipstick gives me a slight bit of pink to my lips which I like. It's a wearable pink that I find I can use for everyday- and it lasts a long time. It's a lustre lipstick and it's from MAC's Rose Romance collection- however I think you can pick this up at any local CCO.
I like it simply because of the wearable ness of this color. It's not too bright (IE, Lady Gaga lipstick) and I like more neutral colors I can wear for every day. This lipstick color can be paired up pretty much with any eye combo.
I give this lipstick 4.5/5 stars in rating and I FULLY reccomend it. :)
It retails for $14.00USD.
Here are some swatches of the lipstick on my lips. Before & After.
Keep in mind that I only put 2 coats over my lips since I like a more natural look. however if you layer it- it beecomes more pigmented and pink.

hey guys!
so now that the holidays are OFFICIALLY over, it's time to head back to school and face the reality that lies before us - exam & summative time. This is definitely the most painful 3 weeks us students face and is also the most sleepless. ): For the past week, I think I've slept a total of.... around 16-20 hours? Which isn't good. I TRY to sleep when I can, it's just that there's so little time and so much work to do!
today is definitely not a photo sharing day, this is a more personal entry so if you were just looking for beauty pics/ or etc then just skip over this post. :)
these days I've been feeling pretty lousy, I'm not sure if it's because my period is here (I have never gotten PMS before
taken out for personal purposes. :) thanks for the emails guys!

can you guys believe it? It's already the first day of a new decade- 2010 and I feel like crying for some reason now that 10 years have passed by in a blink of an eye. I was actually suppose to post my New Years resolutions last night before 2010 officially hit; but I got preoccupied by parties and such happening in my own home. It's not too late to post them haha.
NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS
1) The year where I FINALLY kick off my worse habit- PROCRASTINATION.
2) Everyone in my family is in good health and I'm able to take care of them.
3) I'm able to focus, concentrate and buckle down to finish my final year and get good marks.
4) Not to be afraid of the future, but to embrace it.
5) Take care of my skin- eat healthily, drink lots of water, and sleep early.
6) Kick 2nd worse habit- sleeping late.
7)Become more organized.
8) Earn money for own tuition.
9) Become better at my make up skills.
10) Take care of my little brother.
Those are all the New Years resolutions I intend on doing, and I will cross each one off one by one as I complete them :). I know number 1 is a but unrealistic at the moment, since you can't completely kick it off- but I know I can try because procrastination is the worst thing that has ever happened to me haha.
I just want to reflect back on some of the most memorable things that has happened to me in 2009, and I hope to anyone who actually reads this, that it doesn't bore you in anyway.
When I first started this blog, it was actuallly intended to become a beauty blog as you can probably tell from the title- The Beauty Muncher. I never intended for this blog to have any readers/followers and still don't, it's just something I wanted to put out there, but as time wore on.. it became less of a beauty blog and more of a venting/personal blog. Believe me, like many others- I had my doubts in putting my real thoughts, opinions, and personal info out there because you can suddenly just get a random reader passing by to lash at you for putting your own opinion out there.
However, I find that writing in a blog for my own personal life is just rewarding in a way- it may not be the same as writing in a diary (Which I find a bit tedious due to my hand cramping up after writing only 3 pages, yet wanting to write over 20), but it still holds the same sentimental values. I know my goal of having more followers for this blog didn't exactly happen, but I think that it'll just take time- and you don't actually have to have followers in order to write a blog anyhow. xP
So one of my most memorable moments was writing and starting up this blog, another is definitely starting my Youtube channel and getting to know alot of extremely nice people such as fionaman, suelynn, Queenie, and etc. They're all sweethearts and have a talent for doing reviews and nice simple looks!
Although my videos have recieved critisim- such as some who told me to never make videos again because I simply suck- I wouldn't stop just because of one criticial comment. Instead, I would take them into consideration and try to improve my video making skills.
There are actually many memorable moments that happened to me in 2009, such as meeting my new friends in my school, going on fun beach trips with them, finally getting more in touch with my mom, doing my first 'haul' video, having my parents find my videos on Youtube and watching them (A bit embarrassing), and more. It was just a fantastic year, and even though there have been hard times, I hope the upcoming year for 2010 will be even better and with the hard times that are going to come- that I will be able to overcome them.
I hope everyone has a fantastic new years and Happy new Years to all!
xoxo
