UPDATES- Just about life. :)

Hey everyone!! :) Long time no see!

I know it's been so long since I've really updated.... but life has been extremely busy filled with end of the year exams, jobs, marks, etc.

I can't wait to say that I'm finally done highschool! I'm so happy however I'm a bit reminiscent since I'm going to miss all the good times I've had with some life long friends I've made over the past four years. ): However, I will never forget them so I was going to post up a few pictures, however I think I need their permission so I won't do so. xD (I don't think they want their picture plastered on my blogspot haha). It's on Facebook though if anyone is interested, however you will have to add me. :) Just look up Renesaur since I don't have a username. ><

I don't think my friend K would mind if I posted up this picture alongside with her.. I got my dress from this outlet for only $35! I did my own hair and make up, also got the shoes for $20 so in total- I only spent around 60 dollars in total. :) Yay for saving! Haha.

In the picture, I'm not actually a giant.. it's just my friend is alot shorter than me so it makes it look like I'm extremely tall. Haha. I'm around 5'8 or so and was 5'9 with the heels. It was a great night and I still miss it!!

By the way.. on the after party morning- we went to this great diner that had the BEST hot chocolate ever! It's open twenty four hours and is called "Frans" for those who live where I do.

 ^It's so yummy!! :D

Right now I'm working at various places right now and its not extremely exhausting..so I'm glad for that! The only thing is I won't get to enjoy my summer as much! Haha. Its okay though, since I'll still have the end of August to party it up! :) I can't wait and I'll update you guys soon!!

xoxo

MUST haves - for summer 2010 :) part uno! (sorry its so delayed)

Hey guys! :) Sorry for the lack of updates!! I've been dying in the amount of schoolwork, planning for prom, and etc lately and been just BLEH + I've been so iffy about many things lately. ): I promise I'll make regular posts soon!

Anyhow- lately I've been breaking out like CRAZY.. 1) I've been getting allergric reactions to literally everything! D: 2) Lack of sleep + diet 3) Bugs keep biting me so they end up kind of looking like pimples..to me --. The Clinique stuff I was using before ended up making my normal skin extremely dry..so I finally stopped using it and started just using moisturizer to go back to normal skin again except its not working ): Anyone have any suggestions for Dry (cheeks+flaky) and Combo kind of skin? (Oily at my T-zone/forehead) I'm also pretty ACNE-PRONE ):

Other then that- SUMMER is here and finally is time for one of the most important events for all us high schoolers... yes.. PROM! :) I've bought everything including my shoes, dress, intimates, etc for it now so it's all good. Only thing that's lacking is my jewellery. Except I've never been a jewellery person so I probably won't end up wearing or buying any unless they're earrings xP.

ANYWAYS- Also I've been pretty broke.. so I haven't had the chance to buy ANYTHING ): Let alone pay my friend back the money I owe her yet! ): Life stinks when you have no $$! However, I got a job so lets hope a steady flow of cash starts coming in soon..:)

MUST HAVES (That I must buy by the end of the summer of 2010 : ) )

iSkin Pore Perfecting System "Sephora's Clarisonic "Dupe""
http://www.sallybeauty.com/Pore-Perfecting/SBS-244008,default,pd.html
$41.47 CAD (Canadian Stores) $29.99 USD (US Stores)

I've really been looking for something similar to the Clarisonic lately however everything is really out of my price range. I've tried Sephora's brush thing but it stinks and I ended up returning it because it didn't do anything. ):. However I've been hearing on Soompi forums and on Makeupalley that this product is pretty good and a good dupe for the Clarisonic which costs a whopping $200 dollars in Canada ): That's not including tax yet! While this iSkin would probably produce the same results and only costing $30USD but probably a bit more in Canada however still better than $200+!

They're avaliable at Sally's Beauty Supply Store however I'm not too sure if Canada's Sally's carries this product since not every product that the US chain carries - would equal to the Canadian Sally's to having also. I might have to call them to double check before I head over there since it's quite a distance from my house. I'll do a review on this as soon as I get money to buy this baby. =)

If anyone has used this product- let me know how it turned out for you! =)

Coastal Scents Medium Camo Quad
$7.95 USD

I've actually seen alot of hit or misses with Coastal Scent products, thats the sole reason why I don't really buy or try much of their products since I've always been on a budget for make up :X. (MAC things I buy from sales and I can also get a refund so its all good) However I've seen more positive reviews for this quad than the other concealer ones I was tempted to try from Coastal Scents. However many have said that those other ones were less creamy and require more effort to make them..huh what's that word again, I forgot actually haha. Just to make them more smoother, however I'm willing to try this product since it got more good reviews and is more creamier. =)

Sally Girl Mini Baked Eyeshadow
$0.99USD (US Stores) ??? (Canadian Stores)

I've heard alot of good reviews for these mini shadows and I'm so tempted to try them now that I know Canada has a Sally Beauty's Supply and its pretty near my house also! I've looked at swatches on MUA, Specktra and they're pretty pigmented for their price! The colors are gorgeous and shimmery and I definitely would do a review once I get them!

SKINCARE STUFF

Nuxe Reve de Miel Cleansing Gel (Honey)
6.7OZ(200ML)- $24.00 CAD
Avaliable at Shoppers Drugmart

Now I've been on the search for a cleansing product for the longest time.. one that won't dry out my oily skin, leave it too tight, break me out or give me flakiness. It's been a whirlwind of a ride for my skin these past few years... now- and I've currently stopped using cleansers since my skin needs a break. It's pretty acne / white head filled atm.. the most I've EVER had.
I was skeptical about Nuxe products.. especially since I considered them to be a pricey line for it to be avaliable in a DRUGSTORE of all places.. so I ignored this line everytime I passed by it in Shoppers Drugmart. HOWEVER, on MUA- all of their products seem to get generally positive reviews which interests me a little bit.. and with its all organic line, I'm going to try it out.

NuxeThingie.. sorry I got quite lazy on looking up the information.

However I've heard that this is an excellent makeup cleanser and I actually bought it since I last edited this post. Haha.

I'll continue on everything later. :) This post was actually done back in May but somehow- I never got around to posting it till now.. in July. July 1st to be exact.
